Sooo, guess what?
I’m going to Paris!
Aaaaahhhhh! I’m so excited! The sites, the people, the cuisine! And most of all… THE ART! Oh, it’s going to be fantastic!
I’ve only gone out of the country once before: in the seventh grade, I took a cruise to the Bahamas. It was fun, but we went to Nassau, which I feel is very “Americanized.” It’s when you venture out of the main town (I’ve heard) that you experience their actual culture.
I can’t wait to go to a place that isn’t made to suit me! (Wow, that last statement was really. Sorry about that.) The French have their own culture, their own way of life. I want to be emerged in an entirely new world! France is it!
I’ve been preparing for this trip like crazy (I’ve even picked up a booked to help me learn some French before I go there.) The trip is at the end of the month, so for the next few weeks, I’ll be posting updates of my preparation!
Aaaah! Can’t wait!
